Lunar Cauldron - Witch Eye 'b' (two sided)

This talisman is focused on a few levels. The Lunar Cauldron side shows three ‘rays’ or drops taking the form of arrows and raining them down on the wearer. I think of these three drops as the Weavers - the Fates or Norns. These three ‘legs’ of the cauldron are thus What Was, What is, and What Shall Be - the field of magic. We can learn from the past, and shift our behaviour in the present/Now to influence the Future that comes to pass. We can shift the effects of the past (via retroactive enchantment) so that our experience of the Now (which is largely controlled by our sense of identity) is shifted, and thus so is that which will come to pass. We can focus our work on the future, and seeing the trajectory (the line drawn from our past to or present carried forward), shape the inevitable outcomes to our favor. We can, to say it a bit differently, focus our attentions/intentions on any of the three phases of the Weavers to make the changes we seek. Slight changes can be worked at a single ‘leg’ or point, radical changes are best worked on all three levels.

The Witch Eye is an aid to the inner sight, the magical vision that allows us to see the points of intersection and/or leverage - the place where we can best apply our resources to bring about the changes we desire - on both material or Otherworld levels.

Thus combined we have a talisman for seeing where to apply our energies to the Work of the Weavers, to link to the different streams of time, and to take a hand at the loom and (to mix metaphors!) forge our own Fates.

As a two-sided piece, this item is not hallmarked as sterling silver, as I am unwilling to choose a face to damage with the hallmark!

Being entirely hand crafted, each piece is unique, so even pieces based on the same design have significant variations and are one-of-a-kind.

Pendant measures 1.27" (32mm) in diameter x .135″ (3.4mm) thick, weight is right around 17 grams/ .6 ounces.
