Uncrossing - Protection

Uncrossing (the sigil with the trident-like top):

Crossed conditions in magic are any sort of harmful or blocking influences. They can arise from hexes or cursing, but also can be 'absence of malice' type situations where the negative influence is unintentional or even self-inflicted. Self-deception and delusion can lead to crossed conditions as can 'trespassing' or otherwise causing offense with things like land spirits, the dead of an area, or even the disconnect between the life we choose to live and the life our ancestral spirits would prefer we chose! The metaphor I prefer is that of crossed wires or knots of sorts in the natural flow of energy. The end results can feel like blockage, confusion, stagnation, the inability to see expected results for effort applied, and generally constant difficulties of all sorts for as long as conditions remain crossed. Often we feel like nothing we do works out as we desire, like everything we touch fails. Sometimes this is an overall thing affecting all parts of our life while other times only seems to affect certain aspects of it, like work or a relationship. This talisman seeks to shed crossed conditions of all sorts, to help untangle the lines of fate to better allow our life to flow more freely, easily, and fruitfully.

Protection (the sigil with the arrow/point in it’s center):

Protection derives from the concept 'to cover', to conceal, or defend. This is can be an activity, a thing (like a shield), or a force. To be protected is therefore to be covered-over, shielded, and defended so that harm - malicious or accidental - passes over or by the one protected. This form has a quieter, more methodical edge to it rather than an aggressive one. It has a task to do, and it seeks to perform it effectively. A calmer, steadier, but no less effective approach than some!

Handmade from sheets of sterling silver. As a two-sided piece, this item is not hallmarked as sterling silver, as I am unwilling to choose a face to damage with the hallmark!

Being entirely handcrafted, each piece is unique, so even pieces based on the same design have significant variations and are one-of-a-kind.

Weight is about 11.7 grams. 40.5mm tall  x 22mm wide x 3mm thick (1.6” x .8” x .12”).
